- Synopsis/Presolicitation Notice MAAWS Picatinny Fire Control Device (PFCD) The US Army TACOM-ARDEC ??? Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce in support of the Office of the Program Manager for Shoulder Fired weapons has a requirement for the production of the MAAWS Picatinny Fire Control Device (PFCD). This requirement will be a 100% Small Business Set - Aside. The basic requirement for the MAAWS PFCD in FY 06 will be up to 100 units. Additional option quantities for FY 07, FY 08, and FY 09 may be awarded in quantities up to 500 per fiscal year. A qualified source should possess the capability to provide all of the necessary materials, technical expertise, manufacturing expertise, personnel, equipment and data in accordance with the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall be ISO 9000 compliant or equivalent. The Federal Service Code (FSC) for this program is 1240, NIACS Code is 33512, and the SIC Code is 3599. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov, to be awarded this contract. This is a synopsis/presolicitation and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the TACOM Acquisition Center PROCNET website http: // www.procnet.pica.army.mil, on or about April 24, 2006. Proposals for this requirement shall be submitted within thirty (30) days from the release date of the RFP.
