- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The following is a synopsis under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The quotation number is N00178-06-Q-1908. All interested parties shall be considered by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. All offerors must be advised that they must be active in the Central Contractor Registration database at http://www.ccr.gov before award can be made. The Government intends to procure, on a Sole-Source basis to Service Machine and Welding Co.,! 12421 Maple Street, Ashland VA 23005 the following: QTY 1 lot of emergency repairs to the WOX carriage and cradle assembly originally manufactured, assembled and welded by Service Machine and Engineering. The requirement is sole-sourced due to system requirements and compatibility of existing equipment. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331221 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed price order. Delivery shall be made within 2 weeks of award to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. FOB Destination Shall apply.
