NAICS Code: 532420 Date: March 8, 2006 THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND/OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. NO TELEPHONE CALLS REQUESTING A SOLICITATION WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ACKNOWLEDGED. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER, A DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) IS PROVIDED WITHIN. RESPONSES SHALL NOT EXCEED 20 PAGES AND STANDARD COMPANY BROCHURES ARE NOT DESIRED. INFORMATION SHALL FOCUS ON THE CAPABILITY TO PROVIDE SUPPLIES/SERVICES AS DEFINED BELOW: The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Acquisition Management Headquarters Procurement Operation Division is performing a market survey to determine the feasability of leasing versus buying several digital copier machines to support the Criminal Investigation Division Offices around the United States (e.g. San Diego, Syracuse, Georgia, Washington, etc.). Requirement Description: The vendor must have the capability to provide machines which have the capability to fax, scan documents, print and scan email, contain automatic document feeders and automatic duplexing, include a booklet finisher with bridge, have a large capacity tray (at least 1,500 letter size sheets) and two (2) paper tray units with drawers capable of holding at least 500 sheets each, staples and toner are also required along with network service and an extensive warranty period. Delivery and setup should be included. If your company has the capabilities of providing the services above, please submit, in writing, sufficient information within the page limitation (20 pages) which demonstrates your ability to fulfill the requirement. Responses, including vendor's business status (e.g. small, small disadvantaged, minority owned, 8(a), etc.) are to be submitted via email to Rebecca Hindin at hindin.rebecca@epa.gov no later than 12:00 PM EST on Thursday March 23, 2006. Please note that in order for the Federal Government to do business with a company, they need to be registered on the Central Contractor's Registration website (www.ccr.gov). Please provide your company's DUNS and Tax Identification Number at time of submission.
