Description

A Firm Fixed Price supply type contract for up to (10) sets of Weapons Elevator Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Control Assemblies, to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Rockwell Automation, Cleveland OH., per FAR 6.302. Sole source is required due to proprietary rights with existing systems. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon resonses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. FOB Destination. The contract will be solicited for a base year, with four one-year options as a Firm, Fixed-Price, requirements, supply type contract. The base year of performance is expected to begin 01 August 2006 or date of award, whichever is later, through 1 year thereafter. This acquisition will be solicited using the procedures of FAR Part 15. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or before 14 April 06, with a closing 30 days later.
