Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source fixed price purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to Oracle USA, Inc. Bethesda, MD using FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire the renewal of software maintenance for the proprietary Oracle (formerly PeopleSoft) modules of ePerformance, Enterprise Tools and eDevelopment. This notice IS NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. This software maintenance is considered sole source because only Oracle, USA, Inc. can provide the support for the software modules. This award will be made, unless information to the contrary is received by Laura Edmondson at Laura.E.Edmondson@irs.gov no later than 4:00 PM EST on Thursday, March 30, 2006. Information received as a result of this notice may or may not affect the award and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
