Description

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to Consolidate Kitchen, Building 160 at the James H. Quillen VAMC, Mountain Home, TN 37684. Work involves general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds. Performance period is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. Cost Range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 Million. THIS PROCUREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION AND WAS ORIGINALLY ANNOUNCED AS A 100% SDVOSB SET ASIDE UNDER IFB 621-31-06. Bid documents will be available on or about April 6, 2006. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 10:00 AM ET in the A&MMS Conference Room, Building 8, Room 310, James H. Quillen VAMC, Mountain Home, TN. All interested bidders are strongly urged to attend. Bid opening is May 9, 2006 at 3:30 PM ET in the A&MMS Conference Room, Building 8, Room 310, Mountain Home, TN. Bidders are advised that no contract will be awarded to any firm not listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
