Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for performing hazardous fuels reduction work, which includes thinning/release of conifers or hardwoods, pruning of conifer leave trees and handpiling of slash, on an estimated 146 acres. The project work is located in the Illinois Valley Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, T41S, R8W, Sections 9, 15 and 16, and T19N, R5E, Section 33. An Oregon Farm/Forest License is required. This a Request for Proposals. In addition to submission of a price proposal, offerors are required to complete a project specific questionnaire providing information regarding past performance history, use of local labor, quality control, etc. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 04/28/06. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications (Section K in Solicitations) in the ORCA system.
