- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO in unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following HP 9000 rp8400 Enterprise Server manufactured by Hewlett Packard, 9737 Washingtonian Blvd, Lower Level, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 on a specific make and model basis: Item No. 1, qty 1, Model No. A6093A, HP 9000 rp8400 Enterprise Server configured to include: qty 2, Model No. A6094A, Description: HP Processor/Memory Cell Board; qty 4, Model No. A6435A, Description: HP 875 MHz Processors, 2-pack; qty 4, Model No. A6098A, Description: HP 4GB memory kits; qty 2, Model No. A7109A, Description: HP Core I/O; qty 2, Model No. A6795A, Description: HP PCI 2Gb Fibre Channel Adapters; qty 4, Model No. A6831A, Description: HP 36GB Hot Plug Ultra 160 SCSI disk drives; qty 1, Model No. A6180A, Description: HP DVD ROM Internal; qty 1, Model No. C7508A, Description: HP Tape Array 5300 Enclosure; qty 1, Model No. C7497A, Description: HP DDS4 DAT tape drive; qty 2, Model No. A6099A, Description: HP Hot Swap power supply; qty 1, Model No.J1528A, Description: HP rack mount kit; qty 1, Model No. A4901A, Description: HP 1.6 meter cabinet with PDUs, rear door and NEMA L620-30 amp connector; and HP/UX 11i pre-installed with valid license transfer. Contractor shall deliver License Certificate or valid license transfer documentation from HP. All components identified above shall be fully integrated, and the system tested to ensure proper system operation prior to delivery. System shall be covered by at least a six-month onsite warranty. The specific items are required for compatibil ity with existing program infrastructure. NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Items may be new or refurbished warranted as new. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be no later than 30 days after award date. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00 pm on 14 April 2006. The anticipated award date is 21 April 2006. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A SEPARATE WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE. All responsible sources may submit quotes. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at DLGR_NSWC_XDS12@navy.mil but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-4089 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS12D, Bldg. 183, Rm. 104, 17320 Dahlgren Rd, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
