- This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation for purchase request F2XJA76072A200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR Subpart 13.3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-09 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20030501. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement is unrestricted, NAICS 485510, SIC 4131. Line items (CLIN) are referenced to Honors Camps in Phoenix AZ only: CLIN 0001, Honors Camp #1 to be held at Arizona State University from 11-16 Jun 06. Bus transportation for transporting cadets to and from various locations during Honors Camp. Sunday through Friday pm, 1 each. CLIN 0002, Honors Camp #2 to be held at Arizona State University from 25-30 Jun 06. Bus transportation for transporting cadets to and from various locations during Honors Camp. Sunday through Friday pm, 1 each. The required delivery date is 16 Jul 2006. The place of delivery and acceptance is Germany. Partial shipment and partial payment are authorized. Award will be based on price, past performance, technical acceptability and quality of proposed facilities. All contractors must include with their quotes, a completed copy of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Item (JAN 2006) applies to this acquisition, 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (MAR 2005). The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) provision applies 252.225-7035 Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (JAN 2005). DFAR 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Request (JAN 2004). The FAR clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (SEP 2005), applies to this acquisition. Times listed below are approximate and may change due to bad weather, Air Force operational requirement changes, etc. A detailed schedule will be provided but is subject to change. Flexibility is required. Bus size ? 55 passenger bus Locations - the camp will take place at the main ASU campus. Bus trips will include but not limited to transportation to and from the Phoenix airport, the main ASU campus, the ASU Polytechnic Campus, Luke Air Force Base, Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson) and General Dynamics in Tempe, AZ. Transportation requirements by day with approximate bus times: Sunday, 11 June (0900 ? 1500)- 2-4 trips between Phoenix airport and the main ASU campus Monday, 12 June (0600 ? 2100) - from ASU main campus to several places on and around Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ, and return to the main ASU campus Tuesday, 13 June (1100 ? 1830) - from ASU main campus to several places on around the ASU Polytechnic campus and return to the main ASU campus Wednesday, 14 June (0600 ? 1400) ? locations same as Tuesday Thursday, 15 June (0600 ? 1900) ? locations same as Tuesday Friday, 16 June (0700 ? 1500) ? from ASU main campus to General Dynamics in Tempe, AZ and return to the main ASU campus; 1-2 trips between Phoenix airport and the main ASU campus SECOND CAMP - A dedicated bus is required from approximately 0900 on Sunday, 25 June thru 1500 on Friday, 30 June.
