The IDAN is a machined aluminum modular enclosure acting as a heat-sink that envelopes your sensitive data acquisition system and delivers performance from ? 40 to +85?C without a fan. The shock mount base-plate allows the system to withstand excessive vibrations and with a small footprint, 145mmx130mmx152mm, this unit fits anywhere. Maximum computing performance is achieved using a Pentium Class cpuModule running at 300MHz with on-board SVGA, up to 256 MB SDRAM and an on board Flash Disk with up to 144MB of storage. An internal hard drive module gives you Gigabytes of storage with connectors for an external floppy drive and CD-Rom drive. Extensive data acquisition and control capability can be achieved with a variety of analog inputs, analog outputs & digital I/O modules. Communication between two IDAN systems or your main network is accomplished using a standard Serial, Ethernet or CAN Bus connection.
