- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, (except thoses identified as Government Furnished Supplies/Services elswhere in the PWS) and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work to perform Transient Alert and Wash Rack Services at Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, and Eglin AFB, FL. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 488119 with a size standard of $5M; the SIC code is 4581. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 8 May 06. Your attention is invited to Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.219-14 “Limitation on Subcontracting”. Potential offerors should note that a site visit will be held approximately two weeks after the posting date. Actual site visit date will be listed in the solicitation. Attendance is highly recommended. Commercial practices and Best Value practices will be utilized in this procurement. Any resulting contract shall be firm-fixed-price with a base year and four option years. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
