- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase from EnerSys North America South America, 2366 Bernville Road Reading, PA 19605 the following items: A quantity of one hundred sixty (160), HX-500 UPS (4 strings of 40 batteries each) Uninterrupted Power Supply batteries, and LABOR TO REMOVE CURRENT UPS BATTERIES AND INSTALL NEW UPS BATTERIES. Current UPS batteries consists of 240 DX-11 UPS batteries. Decision for award will be price on an all or none basis with the inclusion of a minimum warranty of 1 (one) year free replacement and 9 (nine) year pro rata float warranty. The specific make and model is required for continuing operability. All responsible resources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. These items will be acquired using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 18 April 2006. Anticipated award date is 19 April 2006. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery and job completion must be no later than 1 (one) month after receipt of order. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
