Description
OFFICE SPACE WANTED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AMOUNT: The General Services Administration (GSA) desires to lease approximately 2,553 rentable square feet of contiguous (on one floor) office and related space together with three (3) reserved parking spaces. Rentable office space must yield a minimum of 2,220 usable square feet as measured per American National Standard ANSI/BOMA Z65.1-1996. TENANT: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). LOCATION: The area of consideration is in the Eureka, CA area bounded on the North by Highway 299 extended west to the Pacific Ocean; on the South by Highway 36 extended west to the Pacific Ocean; on the East by Forest Route # 1; and on the West by the Pacific Ocean. REQUIRED: The space must be in an office building and section of the city that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well-maintained, and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use. Retail store space and industrial space will not be considered, not will any location in the vicinity of any potential environmental threat. The space must be capable of being altered to meet the Government's specifications, and conform with current seismic and handicapped accessibility standards. The space must be on the second floor or above, with a preference for third floor or above space. There should be, as determined by the GSA Contracting Officer, adequate public parking, public transportation, eating facilities, and other services such as retail shops, banks, and cleaners in the area TERM: The lease will be for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm.
