- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: 3120-01-115-3451 Sleeve Bearing. Quantity 4 each. Description: Marine propulsion shaft bearing longitudinally split on taper. Flanged with internally molded rubber stave forms. Body material: Naval Brass. Stave material: Rubber Compound for 11 7/8in shaft size. Body Diameter: 14 3/4in. Overall length: 45in. Flange diameter: 18 1/4in. Flange thickness: 3/4in. 10 Equally spaced holes at 36 degrees beginning 18 degrees off split. Bolt circle 16 1/8in. Hole size: 15/16in. 2 holes in each flange half for jacking. Hole size: 5/8in-11NC. All measuring equipment shall be calibrated in accordance with ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, dtd 1994, Calibration Laboratories and Measuring and Test Equipment-General Requirements. A Coast Guard Quality Assurance representative shall visit the Contractors facility for verification of dimensional conformance. FOB Destination delivery to USCG/ELC, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packed (in wooden box), marked and bar-coded, the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. NOTE: Packing, Marking and bar code specifications are available to all interested parties, please contact Mr. Orofino. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, FAC 2001-27 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
