Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform maintenance of Military Family Housing at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The contractor shall accept, as is, and maintain 1,324 units including all new replacement housing units built throughout the term of the contract. Military Family Housing maintenance applies to all interior/exterior components and accessories of housing units, garages, storage sheds, utility systems, exterior appurtenances as well as vacant gounds, trees, shrubs/bushes, sprinkler/drip systems, fences, patiors, sidewalks, street curbs, driveways, and playgrounds. All work shall be performed in accordance with manufacture's recommendations, and applicable federal, state and local rules/laws, building codes and regulations, to maintian unit's structural integrity, and achieve safe, sanitary, economical, operational, and undeteriorated living conditions. Approved self-help work completed on a housing unit and accepted by the government will automatically become part of the housing unit and be subject to maintenance and repair under the contract. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced contract with a base year beginning on or about 15 Sep 06 and ending 31 March 07. There will be six one-year options. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210. A formal request for proposal will be issued on or about 30 May 2006 via Fed Biz Opps. Any prospective contractor mus be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
