Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/sole source announcement for a commercial item for a fish biological support program to monitor fisheries at the Contra Costa Canal intake at Rock Slough. This announcement serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award to the Contra Costa Water District due to the fact that this Contractor is uniquely qualified. There will be no further announcement. The period of performance is from the Date of Execution to September 30, 2009. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed by e-mail to the Contract Specialist/Margaret Kirkpatrick at mkirkpatrick@mp.usbr.gov. Inquiries shall be received by May 3, 2006 at COB. The NAICS code is 541710 (Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering and Life Sciences).
