- This effort is for a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to install a Remote Monitoring System (RMS) dedicated to monitor select combustion turbines in select power stations within the country of Iraq for the Ministry of Electricity (ME). The Contractor shall provide all engineering, drawings, materials, software, graphics, communication with turbine vendors, and labor to procure, install, and commission the RMS from each successful combustion turbine candidate (at various power plants as described it the Statement of Work) to the Remote Monitoring Facility to be located at the Taji Power Plant with interconnection work done at a total of thirteen (13) power plants have been selected for inclusion in the remote monitoring scheme, although not all combustion turbine units at each station will be considered. The scheme will include only those units having control systems which can be readily interfaced with the remote monitoring scheme and do not require any significant modifications. A total of fifty-one (51) combustion turbine units have been identified as potential candidates. Further, two Training Simulators are to be separately located at the MOE Training Facility at Waziriya, Baghdad.
