Description
The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price IDIQ contract under a competition limited to distributors of Matrox Electronics Ltd equipment, for supply of image processing equipment. The maximum ordering authority of this contract over the 2 year ordering period is as follows: Odyssey XPRO+(O+141G06316QDL) with full LVDS with FPGA -- quantity of 50 each; Odyssey XPRO+(O+141G06316XXXX) with FPGA - quantity of 50 each; XGgraphics (OG12ML0 DDVI0) - quantity of 50 each; OLPIC Linkport connect - quantity of 100 each; DBHD-100 to open -10 ft cable (RS422) - quantity of 35each. The minimum order is for: Odyssey XPRO+(O+141G06316QDL) with full LVDS with FPGA -- quantity of 10 each; Odyssey XPRO+(O+141G06316XXXX) with FPGA - quantity of 10 each; XGgraphics (OG12ML0 DDVI0) - quantity of 10 each; OLPIC Linkport connect - quantity of 20 each; DBHD-100 to open -10 ft cable (RS422) - quantity of 7each. This order is to be delivered FOB destination at China Lake as soon as possible after date of award, but no later than 8 weeks after receipt of order. This acquisition supports expansion of the government's advanced technology demonstrator. This Matrox equipment represents the government's minimum requirement for additional, commercial components required to expand the current demonstrator while maintaining completely interoperability and interchangeability with components currently in use in the demonstrator. It also supports anticipated future versions of the demonstrator which could maintain the current demonstrator front end, and therefore would require commercial components which have sufficient bandwidth to handle 4 independent streams of digitized data, and which meet the standard data protocol RS422 regarding simultaneous input for camera link and analog interfaces. Funds are not available currently to redesign this preproduction version of the demonstrator to utilize different commercial video processor boards. This competitive procurement is processed under the simplified acquisition procedures at FAR Part 12 and 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A Request for Quotes for this requirement is expected to be released on May 8, 2006. Award is anticipated by June 7, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NAICS Code = 334418 Place of Performance = N/A Set Aside Default is = N/A
