Description

The purpose of this announcement is to provide formal public announcement of an OMB Circular A-76 competition. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (USICE), a component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is conducting a Streamlined Competition in accordance with the Federal Activities Inventory Reform (FAIR) Act of 1998 and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, Performance of Commercial Activities dated May 29, 2003 (as revised). The services involve food services including food service administrators, food service supervisors, cook supervisors, cook leaders and cooks. The services are currently located in various locations to include Los Angeles, CA, Florence AZ, El Centro, CA, Miami, FL, El Paso, TX, and Los Fresnos, TX. The competition will include work currently performed by the food service support and cook support under the FAIR Act Activity Code S-713 Food Services. Government employees currently perform the work being open to competition. The competition covers approximately 56 Full Time Equivalents. The Competition Officials are as follows: Competitive Sourcing and Privatization Official (CSPO) is Debra Bond; Contracting Officer is Jan K. Wisor; Agency Tender Official is Jay Brooks; and the Human Resources Advisor is Michael Webster. The projected end date shall be on or about 135 days after publication of this announcement. This notice is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.
