Description

In accordance with the procedures specified in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003), The General Services Administration (GSA) is publicly announcing the beginning of a streamlined competition for the General Management and Administrative (GM&A) Administrative Support Functions (ASF) performed at the Central Office of GSA in Washington D.C. Thirty-four (34) full time equivalents (FTEs) and four (4) contract man-year equivalents (CMEs) are being competed. The estimated contract cost will be based on market research and the agency cost estimate will be structured on a base year and four option years. This is not a solicitation; therefore, proposals are not requested at this time. The date of this public announcement is the official start date for this competition. The General Services Administration (GSA) will issue a notice to announce the decision of this cost comparison on or about September 15, 2006. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) for this competition is Greg Brennan, Acting Associate Administrator, Office of Performance Improvement. The Agency Tender Official (ATO) is John Davenjay, Chief of Staff, Office of the Controller, Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
