Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 37, Service Contracting and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to furnish all materials, parts and labor necessary to perform one time painting service in various areas of the SEPSC building, Birmingham, AL. NAICS code: 238320. The size standard is $12 million. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The estimated price range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Request for Quotations (SSA-RFQ-06-1390) will be posted at http://www.fedbizops.gov on or about 5/08/06 with quotations due no later than 5/29/06. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 10 days from date of award. Anticipated award date will be on or about 6/01/06. A site-visit will be the responsibility of the prospective contractor. For site-visit, please contact Clarence Bennett at (205) 801-1017.
