Description

VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, CA intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to provide Mobile Positron Emission Tomography PET/CT Imaging System. In accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. NAICS Code is 621512. Using open market procurement method. The solicitation will be available on or about May 18, 2006. This procurement is to provide Mobile Positron Emission Tomography PET/CT Imaging System to the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073. Period of performance shall be from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007, with the Government having the option to exercise one (1) year renewal period through September 30, 2008. The Contractor shall furnish Mobile Positron Emission Tomography PET/CT Imaging System with three (3) remote viewing workstations (including only one MIM) enabling access to imaging of the mobile unit, housed in a 40-48 foot trailer or equal with a patient incubation area. Contractor shall provide work station for the PET/CT system. The PET/CT system must have the following functions/capabilities: Two-way communication (query/retrieve/send) with AGFA IMPACS dicom server and GE eENTEGRA PC review stations. Minimum of 3 Remote PC Physician Review Stations (software only or hardware/software combo) that are dicom capable (i.e. MIMs software, GE eNTEGRA hardware/software). Software shall interface with the hospital networks. Point of contact is Imelda M.
