Description

Provide materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to make repairs and/or replacement of roof, walls, doors, metal panels and structure to historic structures at Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, Strong City, Kansas. Base Bid: Repairs to support structure of roof, walls, and doors and replacement of metal panels for roof, walls and doors on the Scratch Shed, Shed #2, and Chute Shed. Alternate Bid #1: Repairs to support structure of roof and walls and replacement of metal panels for roof and walls on Scale House. Alternate Bid #2: Assembly of support structure and roof and replacement of metal roof panels on Shed #3. NAICS code is 236118. This is a "full and open competition" award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). The IFB with attachments will be issued electronically on website http://www.nbc.gov on or about June 5, 2006. No hard copies will be mailed or issued. The Davis Bacon Act will apply. Prospective offerors must register on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies. Also you must complete ORCA, Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Offerors on website http://orca.bpn.gov.
