Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; proposa ls are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Solicitation W911KB-06-T-0034 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). 3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 and DFARS Change Notice 20060512. 4. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE in accordance with FAR 19.502. The NAICS code is 423840, Size standards in numbers of employees: 100 5. CLIN 0001  45 Foot High Cube 6. This is the description for the following commercial item requirement for one (1) metal commercial shipping container. This container is a Connex 45 foot High Cube or an equal like item. This unit must be an ISO dry container; secure (lockable), wind and water tight storage grade container and shall be new (no used items shall be accepted); units must be primed and painted, color is not an issue. This container must be 45 Foot High Cube with the measurements: 45 feet long by 8 feet wide by 9 feet 6 in ches in height. This is a steel portable storage container with four (4) overhead, 68 tall doors by 6 feet in width. All four (4) doors are to be installed on one side of the cube, L or R installation is acceptable. 7. DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District Attn: Gary Chambers, CEPOA-CO-O-C, 3800 Laurance Road, North Pole, AK 99705 Also, please include your delivery terms/time. 8. The following provision applies to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (Jan 2006). Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. 9.
