Description

This is a notice of intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The 45th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis with ATMET, LLC, P.O. Box 19195, Boulder, CO 80308. The primary objective of this effort is to provide a software upgrade to the Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (RAMS)Isentropic Analysis meteorological data analysis package developed by ATMET. This requirement is considered noncommercial in nature and any resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15. The contract period of performance will be two years from the date of award. The required services are available from only one source with unique capabilities. ATMET, LLC is the sole developer and maintainer of the RAMS meteorological model and currently possesses the sole experience and technical capabilities to develop and implement the upgrades listed in the PWS. The sole source acquisition is justified under FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This acquisition will be conducted on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541512. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received prior to the closing date of this notice.
