Presolicitation Notice Date Submitted: 18 May 2006. Solicitation FA8104-06-Q-0287. Case, Turbine, Aircraft for F110-129 Engine. Item 0001, New Manufacture. NSN 2840-01-307-9564PR, P/N: 1386M57G02. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Delivery: 29 Dec 2006, Quantity 658 each. Qualification requirements exist. Qualification requirements are set forth in the OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. The approximate response date will be 14 Jul 2006. The anticipated award date will be 31 Aug 2006. MANUFACTURER: General Electric. Approved Sources: Columbia Manufacturing, Enginetics Corp., Kerns Manufacturing. New/Unused Government surplus may be acceptable. The following requirements exist: Part Number and Manufacturing Verification - P/N: 1386M57G02 & MFG: 07482, Prior Government Ownership, 100% End Item Inspection, Verifiable Dimension - Design Activity: 07482 & Drawing Number: 1386M57. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
