- This sources sought notice is issued for informational and planning purposes. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Acquisition Center is conducting market research to identify potential sources to custom design up to 3 mobile pharmacies using RV/Van footprints. The mobile pharmacies will be utilized to provide immediate prescription services for displaced/affected veterans in a time of crisis. The contractor shall provide a class A motor home, less than or equal to 40 feet in length which may be fueled with either a diesel or gas engine. In addition, the mobile pharmacies should have the capability to pull out an awning with snap on sides to protect patients under adverse weather conditions with mosquito netting options. The class A motor home should also include slide out flooring and must have the capacity to provide heating/cooling to the awning area. The Government is soliciting information from capable contractors that can provide custom designed motor homes similar to the above criteria. Request contractors interested and capable of designing such a vehicle to submit the following information by e-mail: 1) Name and address of company, company point of contact, current telephone number, fax number and E-mail addresses. Please submit requested information no later than May 29, 2006. Based on the responses received a pre-solicitation conference will be scheduled in Chicago, IL.
