Description

The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis to Thermo Finnigan, LLC, 355 River Oaks Parkway, San Jose, CA 95134-1991 for the Delta V Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer, software, maintenance and support with the option to procure maintenance for four (4) years. The Delta V Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer and software is proprietary to Thermo Finnigan. LLC. The Delta V Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer and software is 100% compatible with the instrument currently being used with their existing platform. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is $500. Public Debt will consider all affirmative response received no later than 2:00 PM EDT on Tuesday, June 7, 2006. You may e-mail your response to Michelle.Clegg@bpd.treas.gov. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide a density meter that will meet accuracy requirements at terms more advantageous to the Government. Request for more information will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet all requirements that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole source award to Thermo Finnigan, LLC.
