Description

The Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons, intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ), for training services. The contractor will serve as a subject matter expert on various Affirmative Action Programs in Criminal Justice within the federal government. The participants will attend the Affirmative Action Program, National Training workshops from Tuesday (07/18/06) to Thursday (07/20/06). The statutory authority is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The applicable NAICS code is 813410. Interested parties may identify their interest and must provide evidence of their capability to respond to this requirement by June 5, 2006. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
