Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W911SR-MARKES is being issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisit ion Circular 2205-09. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. CLIN 0001 - Markes U-UNITYe, Thermal Desorber (QTY 1), CLIN 0002 - Markes U-ULTARA, 100 Position Autosampler (QTY 1), CLIN 0003 - Markes U-MFC, Mass Flow Control Accessory (QTY 1), CLIN 0004 - Markes U-GAS01, Dry Gas & carrier Gas Pneumatics (QTY 1), CLIN 0005 - Markes U-USBHB, USB Hub (QTY 1), CLIN 0006 - Markes U-USBSR, USB Serial Port Cable (QTY 1), CLIN 0007 - Markes System Installatio n and Familiarization (QTY 1). Unit of measure is EACH. Delivery location is Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, AMSRD-ECB-RT-PD, Bldg E3300, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010. Delivery Time is 2 weeks after receipt of order. FOB Destination is requi red. Markes equipment is required to interface with Agilent 6890 GC system. The Markes equipment is the only equipment that can maintain the level of through put of the samples required for the successful execution of the low level detection experiments. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, and clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Cer tifications-Commercial Items with its offer. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating DO-C9e will apply to the resulting order. Quotes are due not later than 4:00 PM DST on 9 June 2006.
