Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price type contract modification to Contract N00019-03-C-6518 with Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) for the following peculiar support equipment in support of the Improved Tactical Air-Launched Decoy (ITALD) program: up to 35 Improved Decoy Tester Programmers (IDTPs) and up to 405 Independent Timing Systems (ITS). IMI is the sole manufacturer of the ITALDs and associated peculiar support equipment, and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data to meet the Government's requirement. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Note 22.
