Description

As of May 8, 2006 all US Fish and Wildlife Service construction must meet ADA and ABA requirements. (Formerly described in separate documents, the Americans with Disabilities Act's Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), and the Architectural Barriers Act's Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS) are jointly described in the document ADAABAAG , dated July 23, 2004. From this document, the ABA chapters 1-10 are the guiding principles for all US Fish and Wildlife Service facilities. These selected Chapters are to be called the Architectural Barriers Act Accesssibility Standards (ABAAS), per a November 2005 General Services Administration announcement. This modifies the original announcement for two modular residences at Eastern Virginia Rivers National Wildlife Refuge in Warsaw, VA. The delivery date for proposals is extended to June 30, 2006
