Description
This modifies the above reference solicitation to reflect the following changes: The NAICS code should read 721110 for lodging. The Office of Inspector General (OIG) requires an all inclusive conference facility which can provide meeting rooms, lodging, breakfast and lunch for working sessions, light refreshments at breaks, audio-visual equipment and services, and internet access for this annual Senior Staff Training Conference. The conference will be held on September 18-22, 2006. The facility must accommodate approximately 75 participants, as well as guest speakers/presenters. The conference site must provide sleeping rooms to accommodate at least 75 participant, and guest speakers/presenters. The lodging cost must be included in the all inclusive conference meeting package. The training site must have adequate conference room facilities to accommodate approximately 75 participants, both in full-group activities and breakout sessions. The facility must have the capability to convert from a full-size conference room capable of seating 75 individuals to four (4) breakout rooms capable of seating groups of 10, 15, 20, and 25 people. The objective of this conference is to support the growth and enhance the workforce development of all participants regarding performance results, the new performance management initiative, leadership, and the Secretary's 20 Department-wide objectives in the managerial areas of organizational productivity or responsibilities. The conference must be conducted off-site. The conference site must provide sleeping rooms to accommodate at least 75 participant, and guest speakers/presenters. The lodging cost must be included in the all inclusive conference meeting package. It is required that participants stay overnight to ensure the success of the training initiative. The training site must mode adequate conference room facilities to accommodate approximately 75 participants, both in full-group activities and breakout sessions. The facility must have the capability to convert from a full-size conference room capable of seating 75 individuals to four (4) breakout rooms capable of seating groups of 10, 15, 20, and 25 people. The breakout rooms must set up with a minimal amount of disruption in the least amount of time to ensure the participants receive the maxiumum potential benefits of the educational information provided at the conference. Each conference room will require the capability for Internet Access and audio-visual equipment. A sound system with a podium and microphone will be required in the main meeting room. The breakout rooms will each need overhead projects and screens, including suppliues such as easels and flip charts with pads and markers; pens and pencils, paper, etc., for the duration of the conference. the most of these items must be included in the "all inclusive" complete conference package.
