Description

Sources Sought: Air Combat Command Contracting Squadron, Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to procure Multiple Ground-Based Tactical Data Link Systems (GTS) capable of establishing a network over (user-supplied) Link 16 terminals or Situation Awareness Data Link radios. The GTS will display aircraft data and position of network participants, provide and manipulate command and control data, and record near real-time flow of events for debrief use. Delivery, set-up, and initial training of operators and maintainers and support of software and hardware will be included in the purchase. The government expects to make an award on or about 30 Jun 06. This acquisition will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) or from the GSA schedule on or about 26 Jun 06. Draft Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted on FedBizOpps with the RFP. Interested parties should contact Claudia Perry at claudia.perry@langley.af.mil. The Air Force will consider and respond to all inputs received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this procurement. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should be a total set-aside under the auspice of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19. Interested small businesses who are certified and qualified as a small business concern are encouraged to respond and submit their notification to this office NLT COB on 19 Jun 06.
