Description
This is an amendment of the Spirit of America solicitation. The Solicitation and Statement of Work can be downloaded at the following website https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The date of 19 June 06 remains unchanged for receipt of proposals. In a ddition the following questions and answers from potential offerors are provided. 1. Question - Does the venue contract include catering? If not, is the contractor responsible for including catering in their budget? If yes, for how many  Talent, band, o ther participants (not including production personnel which the contractor will calculate) Answer - The Army personnel are fed at the venue under the venue contract. The contractor must make his own arrangement with the venue or some other source. 2. Question - Does the venue contract specify rooms (dressing rooms, dead case storage, etc) usage and pick up Answer - Yes there are dressing rooms etc., but you will not be responsible for these rooms. This is provided in the contract between the Ar my and the venue. 3. Question - There was no item 6.2  was there supposed to be? Answer - There is no paragraph 6.2. 4. Question - In the specific tasks, Item 6.1, will there be a need for lighting, video and audio for the rehearsals at the Armory? Answer - No. There is no need for any type of technical support at the rehearsal. 5. Question - Where can props and scenery from previous shows be viewed? Is there an inventory? Answer - The props are in a warehouse at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. 6. Question - Is there currently a Project Manager, Producer or Show Director as referred to in 5.1.4? Answer - No, they are part of contractor's force. 7. Question - Is there a Show script? Answer - Yes 8. Question - Does Army Stage Crew mean stagehands and carpenters and all necessary labor? Answer - Army Stage crew are soldiers who move props on floor and other tasks in coordination with union stagehands. 9. Question - Do any of the venues require the use of Union Labor? Answer - Manchester is non-union, Pittsburgh requires union. This is in venue contract. 10. Question - Is there an incumbent contractor? Answer - There is no current contractor performing this work.
