- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is W9124J-06-T-0070 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is available for open competition. The NAICS Code is 334516. The small business siz e standard is 500 employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-09. If other than Brand Name is proposed, offeror shall provide product literature sufficient for tec hnical evaluation to ensure the other than brand name item meets all technical requirements. System description is as follows: The BioCapture 650 Portable Handheld Sampler collects airborne biologicals. It is an Easy, single-button operation for hot-zone use in Level A or MOPP-IV protective clothing and captures airborne pathogens and spores ranging from 0.5-10 microns and concentrates them into a 5mL liquid sample.
