Description

DESC: 1005-01-141-1235, Part Number 9340487, the item to procure is a Buffer Assembly used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. The assembly consists of tube, barrel buffer (93404860); rod assembly, oil buffer piston (6008763); nut, buffer, piston (934048 5). Precision castings are an option. Requires manufacture of gage. Heat treatment, phosphate finish required. The assembly is approximately 4.25 inches long x 1.61 inch diameter. Requirements are 4,000 each, Buffer Assembly. The proposed contract wi ll include a 100 percent option. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is on or about 17 July 2006. THIS DATE IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
