Description
The US Army C-E LCMC, Acquisition Center Washington intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Photo Research, Inc., Chatsworth, CA 91311, a firm fixed price purchase order for the delivery of (1) one PR-715 Spectrascan Radiometer System. Incl uded in the system is 1 (one) each of the following: PR-715 Spectroradiometer (6700-0001-04,) 2 degree aperture (6700-0004-00,) 0.125 degree aperture (6700-0004-04,) SW-700 Spectrawin-2 Lite Software (6700-0002-00,) USC 705 User Self Calib Software (6700 -0002-01,) USC 705 Aperture Module Software (6700-0002-02,) Labview Software Drivers (6700-0002-03,) FP-55 Fiber Optic Probe (6700-0008-04,) MS-5X MicroSpectar Lens (6700-0008-10,) CC-705 Molded Carrying Case (6700-0009-03,) USB Adapter (6700-0009-08,) IC- 705-25 25 RS-232 Cable (6700-0009-10,) AC 700-25 Additional Power Supply with 25 Cable (6700-0009-12.) The PR-715 will replace its aging predecessor, the PR-714, which is being phased out by the manufacturer. Through the procurement of a similar system the NVESD lab will be able to continue their use of the existing test methods. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1); Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency req uirements. Nevertheless, all responsible sources that provide supporting data to demonstrate they can successfully provide the required equipment may submit a quote to be considered. All responses should be received via email within 10 calendar days of the date of this notice. Delivery will be FOB Destination: NVESD, Warehouse, Bldg 335, 5961 Putnam Road, Ft. Belvoir, VA 22060. The delivery schedule shall be 60 days from award date. The anticipated award date is 20 days from the date of this notice. Award will be made IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A written solicitation will not be issued.
