- The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, is soliciting bids for a firm fixed-price construction contract for Construction of one two bedroom house, Category "C". This is a full and open competition acquisition and is set-aside for small business. The work for this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and incidentials necessary to build and construct one two bedroom house, handicapped accessible, in accordance with the plans, specifications and drawings of a Category "C" Home, under the Bureau of Indian Affairs Housing Improvement Program Guidelines. Bid opening date will be August 17, 2006, at 10:00 AM, local time, at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Oklahoma Region, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Period of performance is 120 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Any construction questions regarding this work may be directed to Mike Johnson, Regional Housing Officer, at (918) 781-4664. The location of this project is: 1710 South Ocheese, Wewoka, Oklahoma. Bid Solicitation package will be available for pick up on or after July 17, 2006. Interested bidders are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. 918 781-4621. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive bid and responsible bidder. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive awards from the Federal Government.
