- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for pagers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA2823-06-P-3089 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. This notice is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 334220 and small business size standard is 750. The requirement consists of the following items: CLIN 0001: PAGERS: Purchase 1,127 pagers meeting the following specifications: 4-line alpha numeric Operating Frequency: 139.175 MHz Format: POCSAGChannel Spacing: 12.5 KHz Data rate: 512 baud FM ModulationStability <2.5 ppm @ -10c to 50c Spurious rejection 66 dbImage rejection 65 db Frequency deviation plus or minus 4.5 KHzEmission Designator: 8KOF1D CLIN 0002: Programming software and associated cables required to program the pagers. Items are to be delivered FOB destination to 96 CG/SCXR, 201 W. EGLIN BLVD BLDG 380, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 for inspection and acceptance by an authorized government official.
