Description

The purposes of this Amendment are to provide a response to another question received and to extend the due date for quotations. Question: In your response to the recent site visit, you address in question 3 [in Amendment 0002 to this RFQ] an accumulator. Since I believe there is no reference to an accumulator in the "Minimum requirements for CLIN 0001" I have to assume that this is something NIST will incorporate into the system. Answer: The installation of the accumulator is not specifically addressed in the requirements section of the RFQ. However, if the Offeror feels that the accumulator can be used in their proposed servo-hydraulic upgrade, then NIST will make the accumulator available to them for incorporation in the hydraulic system. The due date for quotations is hereby extended to Monday, June 30, 2006 at no later than 3:00pm. Quotations shall be submitted to lisa.wells@nist.gov, with a courtesy copy to joseph.widdup@nist.gov, so that they are received at those email addresses no later than that date and time. All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
