- Description
- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 has a requirement for construction for replacement of the condensate storage tank in the boiler plant at the University Drive Division and installation of CO monitoring and gas detection systems in the boiler plants at the H.J. Heinz and Highland Drive divisions of VAPHS. Contractor shall provide all travel, labor, materials, tools, instruments, equipment, supervision, and all other items as necessary to perform work for this project. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical work, utility systems, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items, in compliance with the specifications of the solicitation and in accordance with all applicable rules, standards, and regulations, necessary to complete the work specified. Project completion time is ninety (90) days. The NAICS code is 238220 with the small business size standard of $13.0M. The proposed procurement listed herein is a competitive set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The construction cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available on or about 07/21/2006 to interested parties through electronic data interchange at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov for downloading free of charge. The bidder is responsible to download all amendments and other documents from this website without further notices from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
