The unsolicited proposal was received from MTS Systems Corporation, 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344- 2290. This contact shall develop, design, fabricate, construct, test and demonstrate satisfactory operation of a remotely-controlled ballistic test fixture in compliance with the applicable safety and environmental requirements at Aberdeen Proving Ground, APG, MD. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 15 Contracting through Negotiation with only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capab ility to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before the response date indicated in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be honored. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to kharrigan@arl.army.mil with the solicitation number referenced in the subject line. See num bered note 22.
