THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, GA is conducting market research to determine t he interest and capabilities of firms to perform solid waste collection, disposal and recycling services at Fort McPherson, Fort Gillem and Lake Allatoona, GA. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 562111and the sma ll business size standard is $11.5 Million. The Government will not reimburse any concern for any information that is submitted in response to this sources sought request. Any information submitted is voluntary. Firms submitting responses should indicate whether they are small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All small business concerns are required to submit a written Capabilities Statement demonstrating ability to perform and include the follo wing: 1. Past performance information demonstrating relevant past experience in solid waste collection, disposal and recycling on military installations or commercial to include family housing or residential and recreational areas. Please include recyclin g center operations and a sample of published newsletters with the types of materials recycled. 2. Current successful teaming arrangements with other businesses, small or large. All interested business concerns are required to respond to this SOURCES SOUG HT announcement via email by 20 July 06, 2:00 p.m. EDT. Responses must include company point of contact, email address, telephone number and fax number. The information provided in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement will be used to finalize the a cquisition strategy for this requirement. If it is determined that responses received from small business concerns do not support capability to perform this requirement, the final acquisition strategy may provide for this requirement to be competed on an u nrestricted basis using full and open competition. Large business concerns are not prohibited from responding to this announcement and are not required to submit capabilities statements.
