- Description
- The U.S.Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to obtain services for maintenance, repair, overhaul, RESET, technical assistance, and CONUS/OCONUS field support for AN/TPN-31 Air Traffic Navigation, Integrati on and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) and AN/FPN-67 Fixed Based Precision Approach Radar (FBPAR) systems and subassemblies. The ATNAVICS and FBPAR provide radar surveillance and air traffic control to military and commercial aircraft in various locations w orldwide. The requirement is for a three year, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract and will be a sole source action directed to Raytheon Company, Marlborough,MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. As the developer, integrator and original equipment manufacturer of the ATNAVICS and FBPAR systems, Raytheon is the only known source with the facilities and technical expertise needed to provide the required services. The Gove rnment does not possess specifications or detailed drawings at the subassembly level. This acquisition is the follow-on contract to W15P7T-04-D-A606 and will enable task orders to be issued for the required services. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered as a request for proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
