Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Middle Skid Plastic trays for use in the stack and rack system, middle skid trays edges must support a capacity of 250 lbs and each middle skid tray must weigh less then 12 lbs. Middle skid must be made out of plastic or equivalent. All edges shall be smooth and deburred must be durable (able to be dropped from 4 feet with no damage. Middle skid tray must have a working capacity of 250 lbs when supported by edges. Tray must have less then .125 inch deflection when loaded with 250 lbs. Skid must be flat when no weight is on it and white in color. Quantity: 400 each. (2. Base Bottom Plastic trays for use in the stack and rack system. Base skid when used in conjunction with a forklift is to have a working capacity of 900 lbs., and a maximum deflection of ?? each base skid tray must weigh less than 12 lbs. Base skid must be made out of plastic or equivalent. All edges shall be smooth and deburred must be durable (able to be dropped from 4 feet with no damage. The skid must be flat when no weight is on it. It must be black in color. Quantity: 200 each. ALL INTERESTED VENDORS MAY REQUEST A COPY OF SPECIFICATION AND THE DRAWINGS PLEASE CALL 202-874-2318. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 326199, with a small business size standard is 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-06-0422. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth TX 76131. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be for best value. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on July 28, 2006.
