- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Mikron Infrared Inc, 16 Thornton Rd, Oakland, NJ 07436. The NAICS code is 334513. The following item will be procured: CLIN 0001, One (1) non-contact infrared thermometer for temperature measurement of an internal rocket temperature; processor with LCD display, number of channels: 4, maximum temperature range: 302 degrees to 1472 degrees Fahrenheit and equivalent Celsius, spectral response: 1.0 to 1.6 microns, digital output: RS232; fiber optics cable, fiber of view shape: circular, cable type: flexible stainless steel sheathing, cable length: 24 feet; light probe, sapphire tip 0.080 in x 3 in long, field of view: 3:1 . PN: M680-4-0302-1472FQS/SS24/D-003; Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12.
