Description

The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Carleton Technologies Inc. in accordance with AFI 11-410 attachment 7 page 57 and T.O. 15X-2-6-11 page 1-1 paragraph 1-1 through 1-4 for the purchase of Air Ox VIII twin-50 oxygen system and hose, valve and adapter assemblies. Carleton Technologies Inc Part #s 8520031-1 5 ea, T80-3007-9 3 ea, 7920031-9 18 ea, 813007-3 3 ea, 7920031-17 3 ea, 8020130-9 9 ea. Conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm?s ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to RFP number FA4877-06-Q-0326 by 26 July 2006, 12:00 PST to A1C Nicholas Gava, 355th Contracting Squadron, and 3180 S Craycroft Rd., Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
