- Description
- The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) has developed a patented technology that processes natural gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG) by means of a small-scale liquefaction plant, (e.g. 10-40,000 gallons/day). The plant's compact size enables local production of LNG and thus avoids or reduces transportation and handling costs. The liquefaction process has been designed, engineered and tested on a prototype scale, and is now available for licensing to qualified companies. Companies having interest to negotiate a license to practice the technology should contact the INL on or before September 30, 2006. Ideal candidates should have internal capabilities that include: design/engineering, packaging/fabrication and service/support. Domestic and foreign jurisdictions are available for licensing.
