Description

Project consists of precommercial thinning, release and slash treatment to include 125 acres of lop and scatter and 20 acres of piling, as defined in the Performance Work Statement(PWS)on approximately 145 acres on the Lower Trinity Ranger District, Six Rivers National Forest, Humboldt County, California. ALL off-road equipment used on this project shall be washed before moving into the project area to ensure equipment is free of soil, seeds, vegetative material, or other debris that could contain or hold seeds of noxious weeds. CONTRACT TIME: 31 calendar days. ESTIMATED START DATE: Late summer or early fall 2006. PREQUOTE TOUR: A pre-quote tour is scheduled for August 28, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. Prospective offerors are to meet at the Lower Trinity Ranger Station, located approximately one mile north of Willow Creek, California on State Highway 96. SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE: Solicitation estimated issue date is August 14, 2006 with estimated due date of September 13, 2006. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website for viewing and printing.
